The way we handle conflict is one of the most telling things about our culture.
Avoiding it altogether, collapsing into the guilty/innocent binary, and forcing accountability measures on unwilling parties are all traces of colonial, carceral logics.

The Gift of Rupture
a decolonial and abolitionist approach to conflict resolution
This course starts from a different premise.
Conflict is not a problem to be resolved. It’s evidence of life in relation, and information about what a system needs. When we learn to receive that information, rather than suppress, manage, or punish around it, we become capable of repair that actually holds.

Somatic and relational practices for staying present in difficult conversations
Building conflict protocols that don’t default to punishment or suppression
The psychology of unmet needs and hidden motivating factors behind conflict
Decolonial and abolitionist frameworks for understanding harm, accountability, and repair
Why most conflict resolution frameworks reproduce the very power dynamics they claim to address
